Human rights are by all means a constitutional category in the Republic of Slovenia. In the Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia (Official Journal of RS, No. 33/1991) Article 14 of Chapter 2 (Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms) lays down that to everyone are ensured equal human rights and fundamental freedoms.
During the closing Event of the EYPD 2003 in Rome the Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, Dr. Vladimir Dimovski has in the Plenary session presented "AjdovššÄina – city friendly for people with disabilities" as a project developed by Federation of Disabled Workers of Slovenia during the European Year 2003.
Feletto Umberto, May 17th 2003. There was a meeting of disabled persons of Alpe Adria region in Udine. Participants were representatives from disabled organizations from Carinthia (Austria), Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy), HSUTI(Croatia) and Slovenia.
